Our failed to attend policy
We realise how precious dental appointments are, so we ask that if you know you will not be able to attend an appointment then please give us as much notice as possible so we can cancel your appointment and offer your slot to another patient. Should you miss your appointment without letting the dental surgery know, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the following practice policy applies:
NHS patients- the practice has a right to terminate your treatment and ask you to find another practice, or you may need to pay again for another course of treatment.
Private patients/private treatments- your deposit is non-refundable so you will need to pay another deposit to rebook your appointment. You may be charged a failure to attend fee.
Orthodontic patients- you may be charged a failure to attend fee if you fail to attend or cancel at short notice, two appointments.
