What is Tooth School?

Tooth School is our child-focused open day designed to help children understand their teeth, build healthy habits early and feel confident visiting the dentist.

We believe prevention starts with education. By teaching children why oral health matters, we empower them to take ownership of their smiles from a young age.

Each appointment is relaxed, unrushed and tailored to your child’s age and confidence level.

What’s included in your child’s Tooth School appointment?

Who is Tooth School for?

Tooth School is suitable for all children under 16, including:

Children attending their first dental visit
Nervous or anxious children
Children who need a confidence boost
Parents who want to focus on prevention, not just treatment
Parents are advised to attend and ask questions throughout the appointment.

Why early dental check-ups matter

Regular dental check-ups from an early age play a vital role in your child’s long-term oral health. They help us spot small issues before they become bigger problems, guide healthy tooth development and build positive habits around brushing and diet. Just as importantly, early visits help children feel comfortable and confident at the dentist, reducing fear as they grow. Starting early sets the foundation for a healthier, happier smile that can last a lifetime.
